SEKENANI CAMP

Sekenani Camp offers an authentic bush experience for visitors wishing to get close to nature. Set at the source of Sekenani River, the camp offers a serene environment in which to relax, unwind and enjoy all the Mara has to offer. It comprises fifteen exceptionally well-designed tents set well apart to ensure maximum privacy. Each tent has a wooden floor and en-suite bathroom complete with a full-length bathtub. A combination of luxury and adventure, Sekenani Camp invites you to experience the Mara.

Accommodation Highlights:

• Sekenani camp is situated beyond the reach of the national grid and all other facilities. Electric power is produced with a generator which is turned off in the evening after the last guest has gone to bed. We do not like to disturb the animals at night and most importantly make sure our guests get a good nights sleep. However, the tents continue to have electric power all night by means of an inverter system, just in case you need to get up during the night.

• The Refrigeration in the camp is powered by solar panels. We are very proud that the ice served at our bar is made by using the sun’s energy. We do our utmost best to be as eco-friendly as possible.

• Bottled water is available from our bar. However, Sekenani Camp is blessed with the purest spring water found anywhere in the Mara. It has been tested by the Kenya Bureau of Standards and proved to be of the highest potable standard. So it is safe to brush your teeth with it and not worry.

• We have worked very hard to make sure you can now enjoy internet access while at the camp…..if you wish to do so
