Maasai Village Visit
An optional cultural visit on your Maasai Mara or Amboseli safari.
A visit to a Maasai village is one of the optional extras on a Maasai Mara or Amboseli safari. Your driver guide arranges it for you, so you can decide on the day.
It is an extra, not part of the standard itinerary price. The cost is USD 25 per person and is paid directly to the village chief. If you already know you want to go, tell us when you ask for your quote and we will include it in your plan.
Visiting respectfully
Ask permission before taking pictures of people or their homes, respect the cultural traditions of Kenya and dress with decorum. These are also among our national park and game reserve rules.
