Safari tour visits combined Tsavo East and Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.

The 2 day tour, provide opportunities to explore the sprawling red soil plains of the Tsavo East and the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.

On the morning of day one you shall enter Tsavo East National park for game viewing drives and later proceed to the Taita Hills Game Sanctuary which covers an area of 28,000 acres and is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park.

The Sanctuary is home to Cape Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Zebra, Impala, Waterbuck and more…

Safari accommodation shall be at either The Sarova Taita Hills Lodge, Sarova Salt lick Game Lodge or Lions Bluff Lodge – Lumo Samctuary (your choice).

Tour transport and game viewing drives are by private pop up top safari minivan.

Option of a customized pop up top 4 x 4 Land cruiser jeep is at a supplementary cost.

2 Days Tsavo East & Taita Hills / Saltlick Safari

Day 1:-

     MALINDI/WATAMU – TSAVO EAST – TAITA HILLS (230 KMS – Approx. 3 hours)

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

Pick up from your Kenya coast Beach resort.

Depart for an inland trip via the Mombasa – Nairobi highway.

Commence game viewing drives on entry at the Tsavo East National park concentrating on the Aruba dam and Kanderi swamp areas of the park where higher number of game are bound to be spotted.

We shall traverse the savannah plains of the Tsavo East in search of game

During the afternoon we proceed to the scenic Taita Hill Wildlife Sanctuary for more game viewing.

Overnight at Taita hills, Saltlick lodge or Lions Bluff Lodge.

Day 2:-

Early morning game drive returning to the lodge for breakfast.

Extra game viewing drive at the Taita Hills Game Wildlife sanctuary.

Later depart for Malindi or Watamu Kenya coast through the Mariakani – Malindi road with lunch stop on the way.

Drop off at your beach resort at the late afternoon / early evening.
