Amboseli – Tsavo West & Tsavo East Tour – 5 Days
Depart Nairobi / return Nairobi (can drop off at Kenya coast beach resorts)
This 5 day safari tour spends 2 nights at the Amboseli national park -at the floor of Mount Kilimanjaro with game viewing drives & views of snow -capped Mount Kilimanjaro peaks (weather permitting).
Tour proceeds to the scenic Tsavo West National Park where we visit the Rhino sanctuary in search of the endangered Rhino.
It is here that we visit the Mzima springs-a source of underground water springs and still marvel at the awesome landscape that forms Tsavo west.
Safari tour then proceeds to the Tsavo East plains where we explore the land of the legendary man eaters & red colored elephants.
Safari accommodation is offered in a choice of economy, standard or luxury safari lodges and tented camps.
Transport is provided in customized pop up top minivans.
Pop up top 4 x 4 Land Cruiser jeep upgrade is possible at an extra cost.
You can choose to proceed to the Kenya coast beach or return to Nairobi.

- in case of choice of Sarova saltlick lodge-tour visits Taita hills sanctuary instead of Tsavo West (Taita hills is part of Tsavo west)
- in case of choice of Ziwani voyager camp-there shall be an evening game viewing drive
- tour can start in reverse if not terminating at the Kenya coast
- tour can also start from the Kenya coast and terminate at Nairobi
- Driving times in Kenya are estimates and can vary due to road traffic and state of road
- Safari can include local flights to cut on driving time if required (extra price)
- For Kenya coast beach drop off, we may use the standard gauge train for Mombasa drop off thus reducing on driving time, avoid the notorious traffic jam and for your better all round scenery and maybe wildlife views from elevated train.

The Itinerary
- Day1
Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
0700hrs: Depart from your Nairobi city hotel.
The morning road journey is partly via the Nairobi- Mombasa highway.Drive via open Africa with expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colourful Masai tribes men and their cattle.
An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled for the late afternoon when animals are at their most active.
Weather permitting the mount Kilimanjaro will emerge from the clouds and the sights of the snow peaked peaks will be awesome.Its snow-capped peak dominate the background as we marvel at the wildlife and scenery.
Weather permitting the mount Kilimanjaro peaks may be visible against the clear African sky
Overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp accommodation option.
- Day2
Amboseli National Park
Today is a day of game viewing drives, scenery viewing, relaxation.
Day spent at the Amboseli with maximum game viewing drives spotting game and wallowing in the scenery.
Your safari lodge/ tented camp shall also provide relaxation and optional activities in between.Your driver guide and safari vehicle are at your disposal for game viewing purposes.

Amboseli -Tsavo West National Park
Early morning game viewing drives at the Amboseli with great chances of the morning Mount Kilimanjaro views.
We shall proceed to the Tsavo West National Park with game viewing drives en-route.
Afternoon game viewing drives with a visit to the rhino sanctuary.
You shall spot elephant, giraffe and other game on your game drives.
The Tsavo West National Park’s terrain is hilly and scenery dramatic making the sense of adventure more pronounced.Overnight at your Tsavo west safari lodge or tented camp.

Tsavo West -Tsavo East National Park
Game viewing drives at the Tsavo West with a visit to the Mzima springs.
Proceed to Tsavo East National Park with game spotting and scenery viewing en route.Overnight at your Tsavo east safari lodge or tented camp.
- Day5
Tsavo East National Park- Nairobi or Kenya Coast
Your last day of safari!
Early morning game viewing drives at the Tsavo East National Park.
Extra game viewing drive as you exit Tsavo East.
Later return to Nairobi or proceed to the Kenya coast beach resorts
