4 Days, 3 National Parks Game Safari Tsavo West – Amboseli – Tsavo East – 4 Days
Departs from / returns to Mombasa, Diani, Kilifi, Bamburi, Malindi or Watamu beach resorts
This is a 4 day wildlife tour exploring the Tsavo West National Park, Amboseli National Park Tsavo East National Park while providing insights into amazing wildlife, scenery and local cultures.
The tour is relaxed with short daily drives thus letting you spend more time inside the National parks.
Tour explores scenic Tsavo West with the famous Mzima springs and maybe the Rhino sanctuary.
It proceeds to Amboseli National Park at the foot of the Mount Kilimanjaro and its vast elephant herds and more game.
Safari then visits the open savanna type Tsavo East in an easy paced road safari.
Safari accommodation is provided in optional levels featuring economy, standard or luxury lodges and tented camps according to tour budget & style
Standard safari transport is in private pop up top tour minivan.
Upgrade to pop up top 4 x 4 Land Cruiser jeep can be provided at an extra cost.
Safari tour has also been found to be suitable for young families with children and seniors.
Good to know
- Safari can be customized to stay extra night at Amboseli /Tsavo West or Tsavo East.
- If you choose to stay at Sarova salt lick lodge or Lion Bluff – game viewing drives shall be at Taita hills game sanctuary.
- Driving time on safari is estimate and may depend on traffic or road state.
- Safari tour departs from and returns to your Kenya beach hotel.
- Safari may also commence from the Mombasa airport when you arrive and terminate at your beach hotel on request.
- If you choose to stay at Ziwani Voyager Camp, you may not visit the Rhino Sanctuary due to the distance involved. There shall however be an evening/night game drive from Ziwani Camp

Starting from Malindi or Watamu?
This 4-day Tsavo West, Amboseli and Tsavo East safari also starts and ends at Malindi and Watamu.
- Pick-up at 0500 hrs from Malindi and Watamu beach resorts.
- Day 1: a 280 km drive of about 5 hours to Tsavo West on the Malindi – Mariakani – Mombasa road, with refreshment stops.
- Day 4: you drive back from Tsavo East and arrive at your Malindi or Watamu resort in the late afternoon or early evening.
- The safari can also start in Mombasa and finish at Malindi or Watamu.

The Itinerary
- Day1
Mombasa – Tsavo West
Pick up from your Kenya coast beach resort (Note pick up time for different beach resorts)
Proceed on the interior drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway.
The 240 km, 4-hour drive on smooth tarmac shall have refreshment stops.
Enter the scenic Tsavo West National Park and commence game viewing drives.
In the late afternoon visit the Rhino Sanctuary and include some more game viewing drives.
The Rhino is an endangered animal species and is thus protected in this sanctuary.
Overnight at your Tsavo west safari lodge/ tented camp.

- Day2
Tsavo West – Amboseli
Sunrise finds us ready and out for our morning game viewing drive!
Tour shall visit the Mzima Springs and explore on foot this crystal clear water source marveling at the hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish, resident and migratory bird species.
Later proceed further south to the Amboseli National Park.
The 2-hour journey on gravel tracks takes us to the Amboseli national park.
We shall relax and bid our time for the afternoon game drive when we go out in search of wildlife

The park is relatively small and sparse of vegetation.
Animal spotting is easy and rapid when lucky.
The Mount Kilimanjaro in its majesty may shear off the clouds and the snow -capped peaks may gleam in the afternoon African sun.
Africa in all its splendor shall be smiling at us.
It is an awesome sight to experience when weather permits.
This is a photographers moment for those magical African memories.

We shall game watch as we exit after a hearty breakfast
Drive to rejoin the Nairobi-Mombasa highway as you proceed to the Tsavo East National Park.
Later afternoon game viewing drive at the expansive Tsavo East.

Tsavo East – Mombasa
Dawn finds us ready for our early morning and final safari game viewing drive.
Tsavo East is large and open savanna country.
We shall explore this vastness in a relaxed game viewing drive with more time being spent at the sightings.
Lunch shall be at an open air restaurant overlooking the Tsavo East plains.
A relaxed drive back to Mombasa and the Kenya Coast shall follow
Arrive in the late afternoon/ early evening.
