Departs Mombasa & Kenya coast / Proceeds to Nairobi

We start our 5 day Tsavo East,Tsavo west & Amboseli safari trip by heading to the open plains of the Tsavo East for relaxed game viewing drives.

This shall be followed by a one night/ day discovery tour of the Tsavo West with its hilly scenic landscapes and shall include a visit to the Mzima springs to view hippos and crocodiles

We shall finish by spending two nights exploring the Amboseli national park at the floor of the Mount Kilimanjaro on game viewing drives and possible mountain peak views.

The 5-day tour package provides a relaxed safari for families, couples and even seniors.

Game viewing drives in search of wildlife, sightseeing and cultural encounters fill up the 5 safari days.

Accommodation is provided in choices of economy, standard or luxury safari lodges and tented camps – this you may choose according to your budget/ style.

Tour transport and game viewing drives are in customized pop up top safari minivans for ease of viewing and photography.

A customized 4 x 4 pop up top Land cruiser jeep can be provided at an extra cost.

     Just so that you may know… (please read carefully)

• Tour is flexible and can be modified to include your specifications.

• Safari tour is extendable to include more days at an extra cost on request.

• If you choose to stay at Sarova salt lick lodge or Lions Bluff Lodge – game viewing drives shall be at Taita hills sanctuary / Lumo Sanctuary – extension of the Tsavo west.

• If you choose to stay at Ziwani Voyager Camp, you may not visit the Rhino Sanctuary due to the distance involved. There shall however be an evening/night game drive from Ziwani Camp.

• Driving times during safari are estimates and can vary due to the narrow highways, traffic density and sometimes road conditions

• Safari is private per booking in own tour vehicle and dedicated driver guide – not a group sharing tour.

Mombasa - Tsavo East - Tsavo West - Amboseli - Nairobi

     Day 1: Kenya Coast – Tsavo East: (120km – Approx. 3 hrs)

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

Early pick up from your Holiday beach resort of Mombasa,Diani,Tiwi,Kilifi,Watamu or Malindi

Proceed to the Tsavo East national park.

The scenic drive follows the early explorer’s route along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway (slight start variation from Malindi/Watamu resorts)

Game viewing drives commence on entry at the Tsavo East.

Explore this vast typical savannah landscape with its large elephant herds and many other animal species

The afternoon shall be spent on game viewing drives in search of more wildlife species.

Tsavo East is expansive, game viewing drives are long and rewarding.

Overnight at your Tsavo East safari lodge or tented camp.

     Day 2:Tsavo East- Tsavo West

Meal plan:Breakfast,lunch,dinner

We shall be ready before sunrise in our anticipation of the morning game drive!

All ingredients for a wonderful day are in place.

…the splendor of an African sunrise dominates the natural world as we traverse the vast park in search of the early grazers and predators.

A final game viewing drive at the Tsavo east shall follow as we leave the park.

We shall proceed to the Tsavo West where we continue on game viewing drives.

This afternoon we visit the Rhino Sanctuary where the endangered species are protected.

Overnight at your Tsavo west safari lodge/ tented camp.

       Day 3: Tsavo West – Amboseli: 100kms Appr 2 hrs:

“The early bird catches the worm!”

..we embark on an early morning game and scenery viewing drive.

Sunrise catches us as we explore the Tsavo West national park.

The natural world unfolds amid the freshness and beauty of the morning.

We drink in the scenic beauty of this awesome park .

We head to Mzima Springs to view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish and a variety of bird species.

The greenery surrounding the underground springs is a welcome contrast to the dry terrain that form Tsavo West national park.

Later proceed to Amboseli national park to arrive during late morning

Relax until late afternoon when we set out to explore the Amboseli national park in a game viewing drive.

This is a leisurely game viewing drive with animals easily seen and with the bulk of mount Kilimanjaro providing an awesome back-drop for wildlife photography.

Clouds may open up and the sight of snow peaked mount Kilimanjaro shall mesmerize.

Overnight at Amboseli safari lodge / tented camp.

    Day 4: Amboseli National Park

Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

This shall be a day of Game viewing drives, scenery viewing, relaxation.

Day shall be spent at the Amboseli with maximum game viewing drives spotting game and wallowing in the scenery.

There shall be an early morning, followed by a mid- morning and a later afternoon game viewing drive

Between the wildlife viewing sessions, your Amboseli accommodation provides relaxation, meals and other activities

Your tour vehicle and driver / guide are at your disposal for unlimited game viewing drives.

    Day 5:Amboseli – Nairobi: 250kms: Appx: 3.5-4 hrs

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch

We shall be early again!

Early morning game viewing drive.

Sunrise and emergence of the mount Kilimanjaro peak from the clouds is dramatic “weather permitting”.

Marvel at the sights as we enjoy our breakfast.

Extra mid-morning game viewing drive.

Depart the Amboseli and proceed to Nairobi.

Arrive Nairobi at appr.4.30PM.

Drop off at Nairobi airport / Nairobi hotel.
