Safari explores the rolling and expansive plains of Masai Mara game reserve with its vast wildlife, awesome scenery and local tribesmen.

Safari further leads you to view large Elephant herds and other game at the Amboseli National Park with possible views of majestic views of Mount Kilimanjaro peaks

The 5 day safari tour leaves from Nairobi and spends 2 nights at the Masai Mara game reserve where we marvel at the great scenery as we search for the Big Five.

Tour culminates at the Amboseli with game viewing drives to spot wildlife with views of the Mount Kilimanjaro snow-capped peaks (weather permitting).

After the Amboseli, safari proceeds to end at the Kenya coast beach resorts for sea activities, beach sports and relaxation.

Tour is offered in a selection of economy, standard or luxury safari lodges or tented camps (depending on your style/budget).

Tour transport shall be in a pop up top safari minivan.

Upgrade to a pop up top 4 x 4 Land cruiser jeep is available at an extra cost.

         Just so that you may know… (please read carefully)

• Driving times during safari are estimates and may vary due to the narrow highways, rough road sections, state of road and traffic congestion.

• Safari can include local flights to cut on driving time if you prefer (suggested flight section between Masai Mara -Nairobi on day 3) Extra = $ 240 per person.

• Safari is private per booking with own tour vehicle and your dedicated driver / guide-not a group sharing tour

• On this 5 day Masai Mara & Amboseli tour, we start early to maximize on game viewing drives at the Masai Mara and also allow for the long drive on day 3.

• The drive from Masai Mara to Amboseli on day 3 is long and takes appr.8-9 hours (we thus leave Masai Mara early)

• Safari start at 5.00AM from your Nairobi hotel, Nairobi residence or Nairobi airport if your arrival is during early morning

• Safari finish at your beach resort between 4.30PM-6.00PM depending on distance between Mombasa train station and your beach resort

• Safari package includes Nairobi airport-hotel transfer on arrival and your beach resort drop off at the Kenya coast.

• You may select preferred safari lodges/ tented camps from our list of accommodation on safari at booking

Day 1:-

0500hrs: pick up from your Nairobi hotel / Nairobi airport / residence.

Start the safari journey to the Masai Mara Game reserve, Kenya’s finest wildlife haven.
The dawn drive stops at Narok town where you enjoy your breakfast.

Arrive Masai Mara during the mid-morning.

Proceed for a full day of game viewing drives with picnic lunch.

Elephant, lion, giraffe, cheetah, warthog, hyena, buffalo, zebra many more shall be seen

Lunch by the Mara river as you watch Hippos & Crocodiles (and maybe wildebeest during the migration in July – September)

Overnight at a Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 2:-

     Masai Mara Game Reserve – full day

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.

The reserve hosts the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

We shall visit the Mara river where we may watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

Day 3:-

Masai Mara to Amboseli (520 km – Approx.8- 9 Hrs)

Early morning Depart Masai Mara for Amboseli National Park

Afternoon game viewing drive at the Amboseli.

Overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 4:-

     Full Day Amboseli National park

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today shall be spent exploring the Amboseli National park on unlimited game viewing drives in search of Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Cheetah, Warthog, Ostrich and many others…

The national park is small and compact.

The mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day provides a dramatic background for wildlife photography.

Overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 5:-

     Amboseli – Emali train station(Approx. 100Kms – 1 hr from Amboseli )         Train from Emali – Mombasa – Kenya Coast

Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch

Your last day on safari.

Early morning game viewing drive at the Amboseli as you exit the park-time permitting

Later proceed to Emali train station (100km from Amboseli) where you shall board the standard gauge Nairobi-Mombasa Train (Madaraka Express).

Approximately 9:15am arrive at the train station.

09:51am: Depart for Mombasa on the Madaraka Express Train with elevated country views via Tsavo West & Tsavo East national parks.

14:18pm: Arrive Mombasa train station where you shall be met by your transfer vehicle and driver.

Transfer to your beach hotel in Mombasa, Diani, Tiwi, Kilifi, Watamu or Malindi.
