Lake Nakuru National Park and exciting Masai Mara Game Reserve on a 4 day Kenya safari tour
Safari tour includes stops to view the great rift valley escarpment,an exciting boat ride at Lake Naivasha, a guided walking safari at Crescent Island & views of lake Elementaita.
Safari spends 4 days stopping at the Lake Nakuru in the Rift valley where you may view both black / white rhino species
Currently-the flamingo population is low at the Lake Nakuru-other resident bird species can be seen
Other animals that you may see include Lion, warthog, Giraffe, Zebra and other plains game.
Tour proceeds to the Masai Mara where we shall be in search of the Big 5 as we traverse the famous wildlife haven.
Safari accommodation is provided in economy, standard or luxury lodge or tented camps depending on your budget / style.
This is a driving safari with transport in a pop up top .
Option of a customized pop up top 4 x 4 Land Cruiser jeep is available at an extra cost.
Safari picks up from Nairobi airport, Nairobi city & outskirts hotels including Lake Naivasha.

- Tour can be modified to visit Lake Bogoria if flamingos are not available at Lake Nakuru
- Tour can be modified to omit Lake Nakuru and stay extra night at Masai Mara (extra price)
- Driving times in Kenya are estimates and can vary due to road traffic and state of road
- Safari can include local flights to cut on driving time if required (extra price)
- If you choose to stay at The Pelican Lodge, Sarova Woodlands or Sentrim Elementaita, note that there shall be no re-entry at Lake Nakuru National Park on the following day.

The Itinerary
- Day1
Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
0700hrs:Pick up from Nairobi hotel / Nairobi Airport
Depart for the lake Nakuru national park.
An easy scenic sightseeing drive via the great rift valley escarpment with views of awesome scenery
There shall be stops to marvel at the dramatic fall of the great rift valley escarpment.
We shall stop at the Freshwater Lake Naivasha for an exciting boat ride to view hippos, exotic birds and small game.
This shall be followed by guided walking safari at the Crescent Island
Later proceed to the Lake Nakuru arriving during the late morning.
The Lake Nakuru national park is home to black and white rhino, lions, warthogs, giraffes, zebra and other small game. It also hosts large number of bird species including Pelicans and sometimes a sizable Flamingo population.
Afternoon shall be spent on bird and game watching drives around the Lake.

Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game Reserve
A Short game and bird watching drive at the lake Nakuru national park.
Proceed to the Masai Mara game reserve.
There shall be stops at scenic places along the Nakuru – Masai Mara route
Afternoon game viewing drives at the Masai Mara.
Overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Full Day – Masai Mara
Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!
Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.
It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.
We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)
Overnight shall be at our Masai Mara safari lodge/ Tented camp
- Day4
Masai Mara – Nairobi
Early morning game viewing drive at the Masai Mara game reserve.
Depart Masai Mara in the mid – morning and proceed to Nairobi.
There shall be a lunch stop along the way.
Arrive Nairobi in the late afternoon.
Drop off at your Nairobi hotel/ Residence or Nairobi airport.
