Ol Pejeta & Samburu Tour – 4 Days
Departs Nairobi – returns to Nairobi
A scenery & wildlife safari tour stopping at the Ol Pejeta Wildlife Game Sanctuary and the Samburu game reserve in 4 days, 3 nights.
Tour provides opportunities to view the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya and wildlife at the Ol pejeta game sanctuary.
You shall marvel at the diversity of Kenya’s climate zones and spot unique animal species at Samburu including Grevys Zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Oryx, Somali ostrich, Gerenuk, Chimpanzee Rhino etc.
Safari departs Nairobi and proceeds via the central highlands of Kenya with subsistence, pineapple, coffee and tea plantations along the route.
Transport and game viewing drives is by custom designed open topsafari minivan.
Option of a pop up top 4 x 4 land cruiser jeep is at an extra cost.

- You can chose to finish at Namanga on the Kenya / Tanzania border town if proceeding to Arusha or Moshi in Tanzania.

The Itinerary
- Day1
Nairobi – Ol-Pejeta
0730hrs:Pick up from Nairobi airport /Nairobi hotel
Leave Nairobi for the Mount Kenya national park.
Today the safari route shall be via the agricultural zones of central Kenya.
There shall be stops to view tea / coffee plantations and a main local market
Afternoon game viewing drives at the Ol PejetaOvernight at Serena Sweetwaters camp
- Day2
Ol-Pejeta – Samburu
Proceed to the Samburu Game Reserve.
The easy scenic drive is via the Kenya highlands and the semi-arid frontier district .
Along the breath taking drive we shall experience four climatic zones.
Afternoon game viewing drives along the banks of Ewaso Nyiro river.
Overnight at your Samburu luxury lodge or tented camp.
- Day3
Samburu
Day shall be spent at the Samburu game reserve with unlimited game viewing drives along the banks of the Ewaso nyiro River.
Lion, grevy’s Zebra, Cheetah, Buffalo, Elephant, Oryx, reticulated Giraffe, somali ostrich etc are among the many animal species seen at the samburu game reserve.
Overnight at your samburu lodge / tented camp.

Samburu- Nairobi
Early morning game viewing drive.
Depart Samburu game reserve for Nairobi.
Arrive Nairobi in the late afternoon.
