A safari adventure exploring world famous National Parks, Game Reserves and scenic landscapes of Kenya and Tanzania.
This is East Africa road safari driving and sightseeing in an easy paced journey allowing for maximum local interactions, wildlife viewing and scenic sightings.
Tour starts with the visit of Samburu Game Reserve in the northern part of Kenya where you view unique wildlife species like the oryx, gravy zebra, gerenuk and the somali ostrich.
Tour proceeds to the Ol Pejeta, a game sanctuary on the Laikipia plains and near the Mount Kenya. Here we may view Rhino and Chimpanzee.
Safari stops at the Lake Naivasha where we take a boat ride to view hippos, exotic birds and take a walking safari at the Crescent Island (optional visit at the Hell’s Gate National Park for hiking).
Tour proceeds to the great Masai Mara game reserve for 2 days of game viewing before crossing border into Tanzania and stopping at Lake Victoria (Africa’s largest fresh water lake) where we visit a local fishing village.
Safari tour venture further into the expansive Serengeti Game Reserve where we spend 2 days of game viewing drive before proceeding to the scenic Ngorongoro Crater where we make game drives at the floor of caldera.
Our next stop shall be the Amboseli National Park where we spend 2 days on game vieiwing drives at the floor of mount Kilimanjaro (Africa’s highest mountain)
Accommodation is provided in a choice of economy, comfort, superior comfort or luxury safari lodges or tented camps.
We invite you to choose accommodation option best suited to your tour budget & style.
Safari transport and game viewing drives are in customized pop up top safari mini-van in Kenya and in 4×4 land cruiser jeep in Tanzania.

Day 1:Nairobi – Samburu Game reserve. 320 km: Approx 6Hrs.
0730hrs: Pick up from Nairobi airport or hotel
Take a scenic route via the central highlands to the Samburu National Reserve in the semi-arid northern frontier of Kenya.
Samburu, Shaba and Buffalo springs game reserves are a place of endless skies, dust-red plains and palm-fringed rivers.
The reserves lie on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District.
The combined landscape of the Samburu game reserve features rocky battlements, craggy scarps, dry river beds and fallen boulders rising out of the thorn scrub against a backdrop of the far-distant hills and the great red Table Mountain known as Ololokwe.

Day 2:Samburu Game Reserve.
Day spent at the Samburu game reserve with game viewing drives.
Game viewing is concentrated along the Ewaso Nyiro River, the lifeline of this semi desert environment.
You can explore further the adjacent Shaba & Buffalo springs reserves.

DAY 3:Samburu Game Reserve -Sweetwaters. 140Km: Approx. 2.5 hrs
Game viewing drive at the Samburu.
Depart for the cooler Mount Kenya / Laikipia region.
Afternoon game viewing drives at the Olpejeta wildlife sanctuary.
(activities shall be determined by your choice of accommodation)
Sweetwaters tented camp: Game viewing drives.
Mountain lodge: Game viewing from the tree lodge or optional nature activities.

DAY 4:Sweet waters – Lake Naivasha. 275 Km: Approx. 4-5 Hrs
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Naivasha.
Afternoon bike and hike to Hell’s Gate National Park.

DAY 5: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara Game reserve. 240Km: Approx. 4-5 Hrs
Morning boat ride to explore Lake Naivasha and view hippos, birds and small game.
Later proceed to the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Late afternoon game viewing drive at the Mara.
The Mara makes the ideal hunting ground for Kenya’s famous “big cats” and hosts her largest population of lions.
It also offers the best chance of spotting a leopard in the wild.
Other predators include cheetah and spotted hyena.
The Masai Mara is famous for the large herds of elephant and buffalo that inhabit the plains; also for the pods of hippo that wallow in its muddy river beds.
Other animal species include the Masai giraffe, Topi, Hartebeest, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle, zebra, impala, dik-dik, bushbuck, waterbuck and red duiker.
The reserve also boasts plentiful crocodile, monitor lizard, baboon, vervet, blue and red-tailed monkeys, bush babies, and tree hyrax.
There are over 550 resident and migratory species of birds.

DAY 6:Full day at Masai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy a full day game viewing drive at the Masai Mara with picnic lunch at the Mara river crossing.
There are optional activities such as guided nature/bird-spotting walks or cultural visits to the local Masai homesteads.

DAY 7:Full day at Masai Mara
Extra day at the Masai Mara with scheduled game viewing drives.

DAY 8:Maasai Mara – Lake Victoria (270 kms: Approx. 5 – 6 hrs with stops)
Depart Maasai Mara and proceed to the Lake Victoria in Tanzania.
The drive is via the Isebania Kenya / Tanzania border town.
Meet Tanzania vehicle and driver guide at Isebania border after clearing with the Immigration & Customs procedures.
Drive to the South-Eastern bay of Lake Victoria.
Arrive at your lodge late afternoon. Relax on the shores of this lake which is rich in history. The breeze is refreshing. If you have time, you may visit the Bunda Market.

DAY 9:Lake Victoria – Serengeti National Park (180 kms: Approx. 3 hrs)
After breakfast, visit a nearby Fishing Village in the company of a local guide. Among other things, you will learn lots about traditional Fishing techniques, selling mode of fresh Fish and the general rural life. Thereafter, drive into the nearby Serengeti which shares the same ecosystem with the Maasai Mara game reserve.
Ideally Maasai Mara is the smaller extension of the Serengeti.
It is well located for game viewing drives.

DAY 10:Serengeti Game Reserve
A full day game viewing drive as we explore this vast nature endowed wildlife reserve.
Options of morning and afternoon or full day game viewing sessions are available to you.
The annual wildebeest migration is Serengeti’s most famous attraction.
It is also home to a pride of its lions which have been fitted with radio-transmitter collars so that their movements may be tracked.
Other wildlife you may see includes cheetah, zebra, giraffe, Thompson and Grant’s gazelle, Eland, Impala, Klipspringer, Hippo and Warthog.

DAY 11:Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater (180 kms: approx. 3-4 hours)
Depart the Serengeti with a game viewing drive en-route.
Descend to the floor of the Ngorongoro crater for game viewing in this unique caldera park.
We shall look out for Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, Buffalo and Hippo.
Later we ascend to the crater rim.
Catch a glimpse of the most magnificent sunset views in Africa from the crater rim!

DAY 12:Ngorongoro – Amboseli National park. 385Km: Approx. 6 -7 Hrs with lunch and border stops
After breakfast, proceed to Amboseli national park.
Border crossing and immigration formalities at the Namanga border town.
Afternoon game viewing drive at the Amboseli National park with views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Amboseli is an international biosphere nature reserve featuring dried-out lake bed, rolling savannah and lush green swamps.
Amboseli hosts various animal species including the Elephant, Antelope, Spotted Hyena, Jackal, Warthog, Olive baboon, Vervet monkey……
The observation hill at Amboseli National park is easily climbed and offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Weather permitting the clouds will shear off, leaving you mesmerized by the majesty of the Kilimanjaro and its gleaming snowcapped peaks.
Today shall be spent exploring Amboseli National park on unlimited game viewing drives.
Overnight shall be at your safari lodge/ tented camp.

DAY 13:Amboseli – Nairobi: (250 km: approx. 4-5 hrs drive)
Early pre-breakfast game viewing drive in search of the predators and grazers.
Extra exit game viewing drive as you leave Amboseli.
Depart Amboseli for Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon.
Transfer to your Nairobi hotel / Nairobi airport for your outbound flight
